In our Group:
Ben
Liam m
Boyd
Pedestrian challenge: in week 7 we partisipated in the pedestrian challenge which was a task that would test out skills is interpreting measurment and distance.
In the pedestrian challenge we did exactley as planned and destroyed the evil lego peoples before they could invade, the bad bit is that we were ment to stop before them so we sort of failed but it was cool to watch anyway:)(;

At first we came together with the group7 from the other class and then asembled our robot together before having seprate sessions for programing and observing.

Made 360 turn, had to set rotations on 4 ½ with one wheel spinning
Snake was hopeless, try to put it on coast and it will help a lot P.S make sure that each turn is exactly the opposite every time.

Ben Tuesday 29
The snake was hard but it always helps if you read instructions!!!!
The snake works well when you swerve to the side and then come back to centre before swerving again. We learnt all about the ultra sonic sensor it is worth learning about it it is cool!

Liam M tuesday 29
you had to make it go forward in a snake motion then it had to reverse

tue 3/5/11
Made sensor/arm moves by using the touch sensor then moving forward , time sensor then moving forward, sound sensor, then moving forward .
(NOT NESCESSARELY IN THAT ORDER)

started to do figure 8.

10/5/11 Tuesday
Today we are completing the sheeet and are choosing our music. We are choosing to do an easy square and try to make it perfect to get good marks. To make sharp turns you have to only program it to move with one wheel. We are having great fun with robotics.
For the dance i am the costume designer.

17/5/11 Tuesday
We changed our music to replay and have done about 15 seconds of our dance but I think that we need to shorten the snake.

7/6 Tuesday
Ben did 0.01 seconds which the robot can't pick up so we changed the wheely time to half a second which worked.

We are having so much fun and we have created moves on another program and have coppied and pasted them in.
